Join a group of book-loving runners on a laidback tour of Greenpoint on foot. Every week is a slightly different run, but it'll always be 2-3 miles at about a 10-minute mile pace. To aid in the development of new work, local writers gather to present
excerpts from works-in-progress for healthy feedback and discussion.
Open to writers
of all genres (fiction, non-fiction, poetry, children's lit, plays,
screenplays etc) in any stage of development. $5 donations requested
for donation to local charities.

YA NOT?, a literary salon for not-so-young adults, returns, and this month will feature Carrie Ryan, author of one of the standout books of the recent glut of paranormal YA: The Forest of Hands and Teeth. We'll celebrate that book and its new sequel, The Dead-Tossed Waves. Zombie donuts will be served. YA NOT? is a literary salon for not-so-young-adults (though all fans of teen fiction are encouraged to come, no matter what age) who love reading and discussion YA literature.
